Like its predecessors, the newest Battle Pass offers 50 tiers of both free and premium rewards. The small but free rewards category includes the Napalm scorestreak and the AS VAL fully-auto assault rifle. The premium tier offers urban combat style skins and new weapon blueprints like the AS VAL – Judgement and HVK-30 – Jumper Cables.
Other updates include a new Gunfight variant where two teams of three battle it out in a sniper rifle only mode. The Cargo Truck is now available in the Battle Royale mode and can carry up to six players while offering heavy protection.
Here's what else is happening in the world of mobile games.
Wild Rift Beta Set for North America
Earlier this year it was reported that League of Legends: Wild Rift will launch its beta in North America sometime this March. Riot Games kept their word as players in North America and South America will be able to participate in the open beta on March 29. Players in other regions like Europe and Russia have had access to Wild Rift since Dec. of last year. For those that created accounts in other regions to gain early access, Riot has laid out details on how to migrate your account.
Mario Kart Tour Lays Out New Content
To kick off Mario Day on March 10, the mobile exclusive Mario Kart Tour kicked off the Mario tour, a two week event featuring, you guessed it, Mario and many of his alternative outfits. While this tour didn't add any new racing tracks, it is the first appearance of the Mario (Racing) character.
Nintendo also provided a look at two additional tours set to release after the Mario Tour comes to an end on March 23. The Yoshi Tour will start a series of log-in bonuses to celebrate the game's year and a half anniversary. Coins Aplenty, an event where players can immediately earn 300 coins by racing on specific race tracks, will be featured every day rather than once or twice a week. An unnamed tour will kick off on April 6 and feature a brand new track based on feudal Japan and Wario.
