Capcom revealed on Monday morning that Monster Hunter Rise, the Nintendo Switch-exclusive and latest entry in the popular Monster Hunter franchise, has shipped 4 million units in its first weekend of launch.

The figure does not make a distinction between physical copies sold and digital sales, though in previous sales announcements, Capcom has combined the two.

The milestone moves the Monster Hunter franchise as a whole to over 70 million units shipped, as Capcom reports “cumulative sales of the series exceeding 66 million units shipped as of December 31, 2020.”
